Just because you are trying to lose weight and get in shape doesn’t mean you have to starve yourself. In fact a much better strategy is to flavorful fruits and vegetables that are good for you and will leave you feeling full and satisfied. Below is a list of some of these foods.

Bell Peppers: All type of peppers are good for you and contains lots of nutrients that packed with more vitamin C than oranges. Sometimes pricey red peppers have been shown to give you a stronger immune system.

Ginger: Found in many oriental and an Asian recipe ginger has contains a special element called gingerol that has been shown to increase your circulation and lower your blood pressure. Some studies also report that it lowers arthritis and lower back pain and helps combat migraines.

Tomatoes: Tomatoes are rich in lycopene which recent studies have shown is very helpful preventing heart disease and combating lung, breast and prostate cancer. Tomatoes are also rich in vitamins A, C, E, and potassium. Cooking doesn’t have a diminish the health benefits so you can also use tomato paste and sauce in your favorite recipes.

Pomegranates: Not the easiest fruit to eat but it does pack powerful punch of flavor and very good for you. The juice of the pomegranate was recently shown to be effective in combating prostate cancer and promoting blood flow. Pomegranates have also been shown to posses some aphrodisiac like qualities.

Pumpkins: Nothing says fall like pumpkins which are low in both calories and fat and high in fiber. Pumpkin seeds are also packed with iron and magnesium.
