Many experts in the health care field believe at that the rate that childhood obesity is rising it will reach epidemic proportions in the next 3 to 5 years.

• Over 30% of parents are either “somewhat” or “very” concerned about their child’s current weight.
• Over 10% of parents say their child is overweight
• Almost 30 % think their children have a less nutritious diet than they did when they were children.
• Almost 25% believe there children are less physically active than they were as a child.
• Over 60% of parents believe their children would be receptive to making healthier lifestyle changes
